A lack of self-confidence of women more fat

According to British media reported that January 8, compared with feel-good girls, girls with lower self-evaluation are more likely overweight.

Harvard School of Public Health researchers in more than 4,000 girls in school conducted a two-year investigation, the girls average age of 15 years. Participants must separately evaluate the popularity of their own, while researchers recorded their weight. The results showed that those who think less popular girls, two years, body mass index (BMI) increase the likelihood of two units higher than the other girls, 69% of their body weight increased by an average of 11 pounds (1 pound approximately 4.5 kg). The researchers point out that for now at adolescent girls, body mass index increase of two units within two years, is undoubtedly an abnormal phenomenon. In the eating habits, family income, ethnicity and other factors into account, they still find self-evaluation and there is a big correlation between weight gain.



The study was published in the January issue of "Children and Adolescent Medicine" in. The authors Yidinuole Mo Xiao said: "All measures to prevent obesity and should be girl's self-evaluation of this factor into account."
